We are HUMBLED to announce that SHE, a Choreoplay, is heading to OFF-BROADWAY IN NEW YORK CITY!!!
SHE began its journey and development two years ago, and is the vision of Jinah Parker, playwright, dancer, choreographer. Since then we have witnessed the presidential election of Donald Trump, the Women’s Marches, and the explosion of #MeToo and #TimesUp. If there was ever a work of art that is both timely and timeless, it is this choreoplay.
SHE is about violence against women and girls, about what happens to women like Sandra Bland, about healing and empowerment. SHE is dance, theater, film, music, all tied together by an incredible and diverse cast of actresses and dancers.
MANY OF YOU have already supported SHE, and have watched its remarkable growth, like this scholar who saw SHE upon a visit from Kansas in 2017….

We are THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL for this kind of support, and after many rewrites, a new director and a new cast, SHE officially makes its OFF-BROADWAY DEBUT, this October and November 2018 IN NEW YORK CITY.
But we cannot do this without you! Every little step with SHE has been because of donors LIKE YOU, no matter how large or small the contribution. This is truly an independent production, truly an artistic movement pushed forward, over and over, by people LIKE YOU. We are grateful, as every contribution is necessary, given the cost of theater.
Every dollar counts in this work to end violence against women and girls. This is why we need your help, your support. For APRIL 2018, our fundraising goal for SHE is $250,000.
