Shawn's YearLong Internship at YL

Hey! If you're reading this then you have clicked the link to find out out what I'm raising money for. Well here it is:
Young Life has a year long internship and I happen to have applied for it and was offered the position. The reason I even applied was I think its an awesome first step in to what I want to do with my life. I see myself as a youth pastor, maybe. Or something along the lines of it. Young Life opened that door for me a long time ago when I trusted Jesus at the very camp I get to work at for a year!
I was at Timberwolf Lake and I will never forget that night. The very next day I was asking about becoming a Young Life leader. My area director at the time assured me that if I still wanted to lead then to revisit the idea in a year. Which made a ton of sense because I was extremely young in my faith.
A year later I found myself in Branson, Missouri, at a discipleship program called Link Year. The program is to grow you in your faith, teach you apologetics and teach you how to apply everything you've learned in a secular enviroment. Those were definate lessons I recieved from the program, but I learned so much more. My self confidence, my self worth, and my identity in Christ grew a ton. To say that it was one of the best years of my life is an understatement.
Since then I've been in Branson volunteering with Link. I even played on their basketball team for a year. All while doing that I never lost sight about becoming a young life leader, or simply just being involved with younglife. This oppertunity presented itself in a complete surprise.
A friend told me about it and I had really begun putting roots down in Missouri, at least for 2 years. Then the year long internship came knocking and when I saw who it was, I felt that I'd be crazy if I didnt answer.
Younglife is a non-profit so my salary for the the year has to be raised. It covers my pay, my room and board, my insurance and my mission trip. This is not going to be easy so I pray that even if you cannot help that you could share this. Thanks so much for staying with me this long. God has blessed me in ways that I still can't  thank Him enough for. Epecially for friends and family like you guys. Yall are awesome.

Thank You.
