I am thrilled to announce I have been accepted to participate in a Summer School Vocal workshop this August in New York!
'Canto De Las Americas - A Vocal Workshop for Aspiring Artists in the Vocal Arts' through Belle Arti Center for the Arts, Forest Hills NY.
This is a dream come true. The chance to work with singers from the Metropolitan Operaand esteemed coaches in New York followed by a public performance in New York City on the 29th August.
Following in the footsteps of my incredible predecessors; Australia's first Indigenous Tenor Harold Blair AM and Australia's beloved Soprano and Composer Deborah Cheetham AO, I too now have the chance to be a part of it New York, New York!
This will allow me to experience international standard, work with some other aspiring vocal artists and be coached by some of New Yorks very best in the industry.
I am holding benefit concerts in Sydney and in Melbourne - as I want to share this experience with my friends and family through song and of course great company, featuring some of Australia's most beautiful singers and répétiteurs! These concerts will contribute to accomodation, coaching fees and living expenses.
As I will not be under any scholarship, I am seeking financial support for flights and course fees through gofundme.
