Shauna's Special Olympics Journey

This is Shauna Bloom, my amazing little cousin. She is the most ambitious, dedicated and inspiring woman I know and has been selected to play on the Munster badminton team in the Special Olympics, next summer so the excitement is unreal Tipperary Special Olympics Club is a voluntary sports club in Tipperary town that caters for athletes with special needs from the age of 7 to 70. This club is run by amazing volunteers who give of their time freely every week, swimming in the Canon Hayes Recreation Centre Pool on Monday mornings, Tuesday evening club in the Canon Hayes Recreation Centre & bowling every Thursday night in Limerick. Shauna absolutely loves it! We are very excited to announce that 14 of our athletes have been chosen to represent Tipperary & Munster in the Ireland Games next year in Dublin. We are so proud of them ❤ The cost for each athlete is €460 & we are in the process of fundraising for this amazing event. Every little bit helps ❤️
