Shattered Glass Pins Campaign
In celebration of the wave of women who won elections in the 2018 United States midterms, from Congress right on down through state and local races, I am raising money to send them all shattered glass ceiling pins. My goal is at least 150 pins, and this campaign reflects the costs to make each pin ($25/pin), and then shipping materials and postage. I am making the pins as we speak, and will get them mailed out quickly. This campaign will help support me and my expenses as I undertake this project.
I have changed the limit so that I can also get pins out to already elected women as well as be able to accommodate those on state and local levels.
I am very grateful for any support that helps to get the pins out to these amazing women who will work for our nation on every level, and allow me to continue working as an artist.

A little backstory: These pins came into existence after the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Secretary Madeleine Albright wore a fused glass pin to represent the shattered glass ceiling, and I was urged by friends to create my own version of the concept. I played around with some scrap glass left over from my stained glass projects, and this pin was born. I have made hundreds over the last few years, and am humbled that people still wear them to work, to vote, to represent. I am happy to keep them going for as long as we have glass ceilings to break, and to celebrate once they are ALL broken.
