Shari Strong - Fighting Cancer

Hi There.  My name is Judy Tekulve.  This is for my favorite sister and life-long best friend, Shari Sharp Bickell.   She is the best sister that I have ever had.  For those of you that don't know her, she is the one on the left.  Just hours after Christmas Day 2016 was over, her life and those around her, got flipped upside down.  After several days of headaches and coughs, she made a trip to the emergency room only to find out that she  has  Lung Cancer and that had metastized into her brain.    Shari now cannot work as the Cancer has taken her ability to drive and she is not steady on her feet.  This is where I am praying that our family and friends come in.  Her husband, Aaron Bickell, is still working, but, with all of Shari's radiation appointments and numerous doctor's appointments, his hours are sketchy at best.  At home, they have four grandchildren who they help raise ranging from almost 3 years old to 6th grade.  They are trying to obtain assitance whereever they can, but, in the meantime, some of their bills are getting put off in order to afford the medications and the trip that they need to take to Chicago to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America later this month.  I know we all have our problems and money is so tight everywhere.   That is why we believe in Prayer.  I know in your heart you wish you could help.  Praying is helping.  So is forwarding this to your friends.  That is a big help.   If you have a story about Shari that you would like to post for her to see, that would surely lift her spirits.  If you can see fit to offer her a few dollars that would be amazing.  Lots of hands make light work.  Let's make light work of her bills so that she can fight the good fight against this cancer.   Thank you and God Bless.
