Help Shaniah Get to ASH

Hello my name is Shaniah Boyd and I am 13 years old. I started dancing at the age of four at my church (Greater Exodus Baptist Church) as a Praise Dancer, and have grown to love the Art! I can still remember telling my mother, “I want to dance like them”. Every time I watched a dancer it captivated me and I wanted to see more. The Art of dance is unbelievable as I watch my body transform, I truly get
lost in it at times.

Dance is my peace of mind, Dance is my freedom to move, Dance keeps me in tune with myself, Dance allows me to flow, Dance is me! This Art takes full control of my
body, it’s almost unbelievable!

This conference will afford me opportunity to be surrounded by many dancers with many gifts. To watch and learn and improve in areas that I am weak in. It will allow me to speak with them and filter out any questions I may have. This conference can only be a gain for me as I continue to grow.
