Shane's Small Business Project

My name is Shane Hefner, owner of The Black Business Directory & GoBlackBusiness.com in Dallas, TX. I have been in business going on 5 years and have worked on expanding and growing the business into something larger than myself. For the past 2 years I have wanted to put something in place that would allow small and local businesses, as well as community organizations to have a way to let people know that they exist and to let people know what things are happening throughout the community. And I found a way in order for that to be possible. I have pitched the idea to corporations hoping to get them to sponsor the project but to no avail. And because of a slow economy I have not been able to fund the project myself, so here I am; asking family, friends, small business owners, angels and anyone wanting to help this vision come to fruition to donate. My goal is to raise $20,000 in order to place Indoor Digital Billboards in high traffic locations (Barbershops, Beauty Salons, Restaurants, Doctors offices, Retail Stores, etc.) throughout the Dallas area (I currently have 10 in place already.) These Indoor Digital Billboards would allow small business owners to advertise their business and/or services, as well as allow a way for community organizations to post events and/or services for the community in that area. So I am asking for you to invest in the community as well as into me. I need all the help you can give in order to pull this project off. Thanks in advance.
