Shane Miller and Family

The past 6 weeks have been an unending list of questions for Shane and his wife Amanda Miller. We finally have answers. Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer in the soft tissue surrounding one of his lungs. The news is such a hard blow for his little family of four. 
As the breadwinner of the family, that means no income has been coming in for weeks. And for the next while his sole efforts need to go into fighting this cancer and loving up on his family.
Mortgage, insurance, gas money, utilities, food,  and everyday items. These are things Shane proudly took care of. Working  hard everyday providing for his family. I know with a little help from friends, family and those with a big heart, he can continue this journey in the comfort of his home. 
As the Christmas season approaches, I know a monitory donation may not be a feasible option right now. The Miller family is also asking for prayers. Pray for the medical staff, who are making hard and complicated decisions. Prayers to his two young boys, Wade (3) and Merrick (3 months). Prayers sent to Amanda, as she takes on many roles, mother, wife, nurse, driver, cook, etc. And of course Shane, for strength, peace, and healing. 
As I finish writing these four simple paragraphs, I realize I do not have a golden way with words. I hope my message gets across. How living the American dream is a beautiful bubble, that can easily be popped. But with the help of the community, this family can make their way over the jarring bump in the road of life. I hope you know with your help, money or prayers, they appreciate it all so deeply. That a simple thank you will never cover.
