My name is Malayka Pitts. On Saturday June 3rd 2017 my sister Shakira Hicks was murdered by my brother. She was set on fire and left to burn. Shakira was 34 years old and was full of life. She had cerebal palsy and was bound to a wheelchair. Her life was full of obstacles, but through out all she still always wore a smile and loved ALL people. She loved her family, loved her sisters, loved her brothers, loved her Mother and loved her Father. She absolutely loved music and being surrounded by family. She will be forever missed.
We are all trying to make sense of these tragic events. My mother has lost her daughter, her son and her house in one night. We are trying to raise money for the burial, funeral expenses and my mother a place to live.
