Help our friends

Like many people our friends Carol and Nick lost their home to hurricane Michael.  These two people have always been willing to help anyone in their community including my family.  They took my husband to doctors appointments when he couldn't drive, volunteer regularly, and are actually the reason my husband and I met.  

The tidal surge blew out their doors and windows flooding their home with nearly four feet of water.  Almost everything they owned was destroyed, and now they've been told they will have to demolish their home.  A home they have put countless hours and money into renovating to become their dream home.  

Because they have insurance they will be receiving little to no financial help rebuilding.  While they live comfortably this was still their home that they lost and it won't be easy for them to bounce back from this.  

Please help my friends, because they are good people who have helped others and now need some.  Also because without them the beautiful little girl in the picture, my youngest daughter, wouldn't exist.

Note that all funds raised will go to this couple, I am simply a friend of theirs.  While I was impacted by the storm too it was not to the degree they were.
