If you or anyone you love has ever been diagnosed with cancer, you can imagine the shock and disbelief our familly was hit with when Lorne Mott was diagnosed with cancer in early March of this year.
Lorne Mott, better known as "Tonky" by his parents and siblings and "Neenonk" by his nieces and nephews was born December 22, 1972. He is the youngest of the 4 children of Reba and Stanford Mott.
Lorne and his wife, Lee, were married on April 2, 1994 and together have three children: Lauren, Kelly, and Ty. He is a "Pop pop" to one grandson, Easton, and has two more grandsons of the way!
He has worked for the Calcasieu Parrish Sherrif's Department in Louisiana for 17 years and currently serves as a sargeant.
Sgt. Mott has a cantalope sized tumor on his liver along with cancer in his lymph nodes, and a tumor in his heart. He will be going to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas to recieve treatment.
He and his family are in need of funds for travel to and from Houston as well as the medical bills they will be faced with.
