Services for our dear friend, Kelly Laswell

Kelly Laswell was one of the most kind and gentle souls we have ever had the opportunity to know. She was wise in her own unique way, and often able to offer insights that no one else could. She was loved, and she is missed dearly.

Kelly had experienced trauma over the last seven years including losing both parents within months of each other and sexual assault. For these reasons and others, she succumbed to alcohol abuse that would eventually take her life. Her friends are heartbroken.

She does have some family  in New Jersey, but they do not currently have plans to hold services in Denver. As a result, we have taken it upon ourselves to hold services here in Denver for those who knew and loved her. We are asking today for your help in holding these services.

We have rented a large room at C.B. and Potts located at 6575 Greenwood Plaza Blvd. Englewood, CO 80111. The services will begin at 12:00 pm on January 6th. Food and beverages will be provided. All are welcome to help us say goodbye to Kelly. We ask that if you are able to give, please do. If you are unable to give, please share. Any extra money collected will be donated to The Blue Bench, a recovery center for survivors of sexual assault.
