Bakster Service Dog Training

Hi. My name is Bakster Sullivan. I'm raising money so I can be trained as a service dog to help my mommy, who has anxiety and depression, live a normal life.

What is a service dog?

A service dog is a specially trained pup that provides a service to their handler because of a disability. A service can be anything from picking up objects to detecting body changes before a medical problem starts (like seizures).

Think of service dogs as the superheroes of the canine world.

In my mommy's case, I want to be trained to help detect when she's going to get a migraine since she gets them so frequently, remind her to take her medicine, and to help detect when she's going to get a panic attack. 

I love my mommy and want her to be around for a long time. So I REALLY want to get this training.

How can I help her?

The other day she went to the post office and had anxiety the entire time and it caused her to have trouble buying stamps...it was embarrassing for her and it took her a while to recover afterward. If I had been there, I'd have been all service pup ready and helped calm her down enough to do what she needed to do. 

Other things my mommy has a hard time doing include going to church, attending events with her 501st Legion troopers, family events like birthday parties, shopping, having fun at theme parks, and even going to work. All these things my daddy can do without any issue, my mommy struggles all because of anxiety and depression.

How can you help?

My training isn't cheap and that's why I need your help. I tried offering to pay in kibble and treats but they wouldn't take it (who doesn't like kibble and treats????).

My plans to give back

To give back to the community I plan on being an advocate for service dogs and educating the public with trading cards about what I do and how I'm legally able to do it.
