Sensational skiing siblings need your help!


We are Robert (16) and Charlotte(13) Holmes, elite skiers from Barrowford, Lancashire. We have both  represented our nation, Great Britain, in competitions this winter.

Our parents have fully financed our skiing to date, however they are constantly finding it ever more difficult to fund the two of us.  At present there is no funding available to us from the home nations skiing governing bodies.

We need your help to raise the necessary funds to enable our skiing pathway to continue next season and beyond.

My brother Robert is in the British Alpine FIS Under 18 squad, he holds the title of Overall British Alpine under 16 Champion 2018/19.
This year I have been selected to represent the Great Britain Childrens team and have recently returned from Slovenia after representing Great Britain, racing in a tough international field of competition.

We have both been skiing from a very young age, instantly falling in love with the thrills of the sport. Our journey began at Pendle Ski Club, Lancashire, where we followed in the footsteps of our fellow Lancastrian and three times Winter Olympian, Dave Ryding.

Robert and I, now train at an academy based in Austria over the winter months, however the training, equipment and travel fees are extremely expensive.

Roberts's short goal is to reach the Winter Youth Olympics in 2020, with my goal being to represent Great Britain again next season whilst continuing my training with the academy.

Our parents make so many sacrifices to enable us to pursue our goals. We cannot continue our onward journey without raising additional funds.
