These loving grandparents were absolutely taken advantage of in he worst way. Over night this couple lost every penny they had worked hard for. Their entire
retirement fund stolen over night by scammers. After telling a few believable lies, these scammers got into their computer and emptied all their accounts and then locked them out of everything. At almost 85 they can't get jobs, though both of them would if they could. The Hackers even got their social security checks which were just deposited and would have been used to pay their mortgage and bills for February. The task of contacting the police, the banks, social security and the computer techs was a huge undertaking for them. These two are the most loving and generous people. Always helping others, their home is open to everyone. They have fed hundreds of foreign college students and dignitaries in their small humble home. One time I found her feeding two European back packers hiking across the US. She let them get cleaned up and then packed them a hearty lunch and drove them back down to the freeway. Kum Suk still teaches swimming at the local YMCA to adults who are afraid of the water and don't know how to swim. She's been doing this for over 30 years for free. Her joy is knowing they can now be around water unafraid and capable of enjoying the water.
