Hello!
My name is Sue Spicer. I need help paying for my District level National Delegate trip representing Bernie Sanders for the voters of the 7th District of Indiana to Philly. I will use your gifts to complete my political journey in support of my family's candidate.
I (with my dog, Paula Pink) started my work for Bernie Sanders with a trip to Iowa, ten days in three cities total. A month later it was a week in South Carolina and Georgia. Our van died in Georgia so no more out of state trips as we got it replaced two weeks before the Indiana primary. I canvassed here as well. Wore a Bernie shirt EVERY day for a month before our primary. Handed out hundreds of bumper stickers, buttons and policy handouts gathered from previous states.
So the new to us van (plus other old vehicle deaths) and other life knocks has this urban farmer/small business co-owner (Fruit Loop Acres/Basic Roots Community Foods) financially challenged to attend the Democratic National Convention.
I have recieved my first credentials and taken my first votes. I am PROUD to represent Bernie and fight to transform the Democratic party to reflect the ISSUES driving this revolution.
After all the time and resources I have invested, for all my family has sacrificed, it would mean the world to me to "afford" my Philadelphia trip without further hardship.
