Uganda Mission Trip (June 2017 )

Over the past year and a half, the Lord has been speaking to my heart with new promises and new assignments. Sevaral months ago, He told me that as I was faithful to move (literally move - half way across the country) , he would open up doors of opportunity like I had never seen before, and thats exactly what he has done!
One of those doors, I'm excited to announce, is the opportunity to go on my VERY FIRST over seas mission trip! Yes, I have officially signed up to go toJinja, Uganda through the incredible organization Go Be Love International in June of 2017.
I am currently signed up for a two week trip, where I will be doing some incredible work through Sole Hope (http://solehope.org) helping to combat the jigger problem in Uganda by working daily with medical clinics, as well as providing education and jobs for Ugandans. On top of helping with medical clinics, we will work with other ministries including Jinja – Heal Ministries, getting to serve in a kids club -a community outreach to over 300 kids, and working with Amani Baby Cottage.
As excited as I am to work with these incredible ministries, I am most excited to share about Salvation through Jesus, with the lost in Uganda. Over the past year, God has been breaking my heart for the nations and teaching me about His love for the lost, but now the time has come to do something about it. I know this is a vision that the Lord has put in my heart and He is going to move in a mighty way this summer in Uganda!
All that being said, I know that this trip can only happen through the support of the body of Christ. I whole heartedly believe that as brothers and sister in Christ, we are called to support eachother to bring heaven on earth through advancing the Gospel of Jesus. Thats why I need YOUR support! That being said there are a few ways you can help!
1. Pray! - Would you join me in prayer for financial blessing, safety, encouragment and anything else the Lord may put on your heart!
John 14:13-14 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it
2. Donate! - I currently have a need of $3700 to be fully funded for my trip. Would you consider partnering with me by donating any ammount!
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 – "Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed."
