Help Ashley Be A Better Leader!

The current and future state of higher education is incredibly important to me, and I am determined to be a part of the next generation of academic leaders. This year I was accepted as a participant for the ATHE Leadership Institute as a graduate student-- they usually only accept faculty, so this is a pretty big deal for me. I will be paired with a mentor and spend two days on focused work in academic administration and teaching excellence. I am a true supporter of interdisciplinary and cross-curricular education, and I believe that as our budgets get smaller we're going to have to work together to maintain the breadth and quality of teaching and learning we need for the future. 

The ATHE Leadership Insititute takes place this August 1st in Las Vegas. The cost of the workshop is $650, but also requires travel and three nights hotel stay. Any and all contributions you can make would be a huge help!
