We are Wyandotte DECA. DECA, in simpler terms, is an international organization that prepares students in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. Each year 18,000 students from around the globe attend the International Career Development Conference. This year we had a record breaking 17 students advance to the International Conference in Anaheim, California. The conference takes place April 25-30 and we are in the process of raising funds to make this trip possible.
We are extremely proud of the representation of Wyandotte in the 2017 DECA State Conference. Although this is an amazing accomplishment for our chapter, it comes with many expenses during the five day trip we must make. We must raise approximately $1,600 dollars per student in order to attend the International Conference.
Many of you were involved with our projects...Pink Out, Little Bosses, Bear Den Takeover, Flavor of the Month, and more! We appreciate any increment of money donated to us. A tax id number will be sent to you for tax purposes if you choose to donate. This money will help promise the students a beneficial experience for their future, and make the days of endless preparation/practicing worthwhile. This accomplishment has been groundbreaking for our chapter, and we are proud to represent Wyandotte, and Michigan, in this year's ICDC.
