Send Bird South for the Winter

Hello friends and family! I am starting this fundraiser to raise money to send J'bird home for Christmas. As we all know Birdie is a selfless man, with a heart of gold. He strives every day to touch each of our lives in a positive and meaningful way and asks for nothing in return. I know we all could tell many wonderful stories about the great times we have shared with Birdie, and the lessons he has taught us. 

For me personally, J'bird has changed my life. When I met him I was very lost and heartbroken. I didn't take care of myself in a healthy way and mostly thought of how I was going to escape from the things that I didn't want to deal with. When I met Birdie, he saw something within me that I had not seen in almost 5 years. He patiently, and lovingly helped me begin to see it. He shared his most precious gift, the gift of circus and social circus, with me. In a very fast two and a half years, he has helped me to enrich and transform my life.
 
It has been 5 years since he has seen his family, and I know that this would be an incredible way to show him how much we all love and appreciate him. It would personally be extremely meaningful for me to be a part of helping him finally reunite with his family. 

Although he works hard, and often, his and my own financial situation has been very tight.  As many of you know, we do circus not because we expect to get rich, but because we love it. He loves to see all of us learn and grow.  He personally makes sure that we all grow not only in the ways of the circus but shows us the transformative nature that circus can have on our selves and our lives. 
 
I would like to be able to raise this money by his birthday 11/11, but def by the middle of the month so we can find a decently priced ticket.
