Send Sarah to IWAS Representing USA

Donation protected
My name is Sarah Bolton. I am 14 years old and I have been selected, along with 28 other disabled athletes to compete in Athlone, Ireland and represent the United States in track at the International Wheelchair & Amputee Sports (IWAS) games.

When I was 18 months old, I was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder known as HBSL Leukodystrophy. It is a degeneration of the white matter in the brain which functions the Central Nervous System.

When I was 7 my parents took me to my first track practice and I instantly fell in love with the sport. In 2015, I was introduced to a wheelchair sports team known as the North Jersey Navigators. With them I have been to the National Junior Disability Championships and have also done 5k's.

Making the IWAS team has been a dream of mine ever since I started track and it is my first step in making it to Tokyo for the Paralympics in 2020.

Any donation you can give will be helping me get to Ireland this summer to compete. Thank you!
