I would like to go to Berkeley on Thursday to make sure Ann Coulter's reactionary voice is not the loudest one there and to place myself between danger and decent folk. But funds are a little short right now and I don't want to break the bank to do it.
Round trip airfare will cost me at least $440 as of right now. I am calling it $500 to cover incidental expenses.
If I raise less than that, but a substantial fraction, I will pay the difference myself.
If I raise more, I will reserve the remainder for additional trips for similar purposes.
If I do not raise enough or am unable to make the trip for any reason, I will refund all donations.
