Send Josilen to Diabetes camp !

Josilen was 6yrs old when we received the news that would alter our lives. After some testing and a night in the PICU we discovered that she was diagnosed with Type1 diabetes. 4 years later Josilen is still learning to accept this autoimmune disease and will continue to fight it for the rest of her life. Insulin injections/pumps are not cures but a form of survival. This year instead of birthday gifts we are asking you to donate and offer Josilen a chance to experience an overnight camp for children with diabetes. At Camp Leo Josilen will be able to interact with other kids and adults with Type 1 diabetes who can teach her critical independent skills in a safe and welcoming environment. For some campers, this is the first time they have a chance to meet peers with diabetes, giving them the opportunity to learn from each other and showing them that they are not alone with their disease. Josilen continues to be the strong girl we know and love. Let's make her even stronger. Thank you all for the love and support!
