Send Gillian to Writer's Conference

I have had the great good fortune to be awarded a scholarship to a 1-week writing workshop at the Provincetown Fine Arts Center summer program in July of '17. However, accomodation, meals, and traveling expenses are not included in the award. This is a terrific personal and professional opportunity for me, as I will have the privilege of learning from and writing with Wendy C. Ortiz, a writer who has published two memoirs, one of which explores the very topic that I have spent 40 years focusing on: Dreaming. I will also have the opportunity to mingle with other women writers who are engaged in telling their stories, something I have been working on for a long time. I am currently subsisting on a reduced income; now disabled, I have not worked since Aug  '15. But I am determined to go to the Cape and do this thing regardless! Knowing how hard it is just to get by for so many of us these days, I hesitate to ask for something that is not necessary to life and breath. But to me, at this point in my career, this is a chance and a half. Any help any of you can give will be appreciated.
