Send Dylan to represent the USA

Hello, my name is Michael Payte. My son Dylan Payte has been invited to represent the USA and the state of Arkansas in an 18 & under track meet in Australia in july 2017. The coaches and staff at Down Under Sports picked Dylan to represent the state of Arkansas because of his athletic ability, performances on the track, and his reputation off of the track. Dylan is a very good young man with a big heart, he goes out of his way to help anyone in need. He is a hard worker in and out of school and would love to be able to go on this trip. Ive never had to ask for help or funding before, but being a single father on a budget, i cant afford the costs to send him to compete on my own. This would be the chance of a lifetime for my son and im trying everything i can to help him reach his goal and to be able to go compete and represent the USA in this track meet. Not only would he be trying to win gold for himself and his country but he would also get a chance to experience other cultures, meet new people, and see things he may never get the chance to see again. He has to have all the money raised before june 1st 2017. Total cost of plane trips, food, lodging, uniforms, etc... is around $5700, then he will have to have the extra for snacks (teens eat alot) and site seeing. This is an opprotunity that i would never be able to give him on my own. It could be a life changing trip for him in many ways. Dylan and I thank you for any and all help you can give us. Words will never describe how much this means to him or how hard it is for me to have to ask. We thank everyone who can donate and all who can share this link to help get the word out.. The main goal is to raise enough for Dylan to go and enjoy this experience, if possible we will try to raise enough to send a chaperone with him so he doesnt have to go alone.
