Send Allister to Kofu Japan

Allister is a 7th grade student at McCombs Middle School in Des Moines, IA. Recently he was given the opportunity to apply for a student exchange program to Kofu, Japan. Allister had to answer multiple questions and get recommendations from his teachers. Only 25 kids in the Des Moines area (ages 12 and up) are picked for this trip and Allister was one of the amazing kids chosen to go.
He will leave for Kofu May 31st and will spend time in Kofu with a host family and learn about their culture. He also gets to attend school and learn their day to day. He will spend the last 2 days of his trip and travel to Tokyo. He comes back on June 11th.
This is is a great opportunity for Allister and he’s such a wonderful kid. He’s so smart welcoming and I can’t think of a better person that was chosen to go. I am just in awe of Allister and he continues to amaze his dad and I every day.
The cost of the trip is $3500 and that is what we hope to raise. Please help Allister get to Japan!
