Hello everyone! I’ve been granted a wonderful opportunity! I submitted an audition video and received an invite-only private audition with iTV’s TheVoiceUK. This means I get to bypass it the lines at open-calls!
The Voice is a competitive televised talent competition. Music has been a “major” part of my life and personal development. I’ve been privileged to perform all over Toronto from - Youth Day T.O, TDSB/TCDSB, Sister2Sister, Markham: Ward 2 - Councillor Ho, York-Eglington International Street Festival, Toronto Police, and a variety of other community organizations. I’ve always been delighted to share my gift, giving life to words, and bringing the music without hesitation.
I will perform-live for casting directors in hopes of being considered for the upcoming season of TheVoiceUK 2020 - traveling to London late July, as you could imagine moving closer to the date airfare prices increase! I understand by sharing this, I am asking many people who may be in a similar situation: I am a student with little money to spare for extensive travel costs, so financially this isn’t possible without your assistance. Please empathize with me, and thank you for entertaining the idea.
