For 33 years, I was a slave to pornography. From the tender age of 11 until a year ago, it ensnared me and nearly ruined my entire life. It threatened to destroy my marriage, tried to annihilate trust and distort all my relationships.
I tried stopping on my own, believing I had the power within me to overcome, but every attempt ended in utter failure. Each time I stumbled, I promised myself and God I would never do it again. The next time it happened, I said the same thing. And the next time. And the next.
I believe almost every man on this earth has been affected by pornography at one time or another. It's everywhere. It's time husbands, father, brothers, pastors, sons, leaders, and teachers admitted there is a problem running rampant throughout the Body.
Don’t' receive this as condemnation; it's a battle cry for freedom. When your identity is rock solid in Christ, there is no desire to fulfill the lusts of the flesh. When we know and recognize our Shepherd's voice, everything else contending for our attention will sound strange to our ears.
I want to continue sending out free copies of Addiction to Adoption. After purchasing them from my publisher and with shipping costs, it comes out to around $10 a book.
I believe my story can help spread hope and encouragement to those who are struggling with the addiction of pornography and any other addiction for that matter.
All money donated will go directly towards sending out more books. I have given away so many more than I have sold, and that's okay. I would rather help someone who is struggling rather than make money.

I am a son, husband, father, and follower of Jesus. In July of 2016, God moved in a radical way to save me and orchestrate the complete restoration of the marriage with my amazing bride, Jennifer. I have seen and experienced too much to not put Jesus first in my life. If we’re living for ourselves, we’re missing the entire point of the Gospel.
Jennifer and I live in the breathtaking mountains of Western North Carolina with our two precious daughters, Emily and Ashlee.
We’re on this earth to sow seeds of truth and love. God brings the increase.
