Send Abigail to the Hero Dog Awards

Help get Abigail and her team to California for the Hero Dog Awards! We can't thank everyone for their love and support shown to Abigail every single day. We are so happy Abigail won for her category - Emerging Hero Dog - after months and months of voting. Now, she is headed to California for the Hero Dog Awards gala and to find out if she is the overall winner and named the American Hero Dog! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our beautiful girl. While her trip comes with two free tickets and one free hotel room, it doesn't cover the costs needed to get all of her heroes (rescuers/vet team) and family to California, all the fun things we want to buy her so she shines like the star she is and the cost of the table at the gala ($2,500).  Right now, we are looking at anywhere from $5-7,000 to make this dream come true. We all know Abigail deserves this honor after the life she was forced to live at the hands of some horrible humans. Our girl defied the odds and is a survivor of one of the most horrific things that can be done to an animal - being used as a bait dog. Abigail is a survivor, a forgiver and a lover. Her mission to raise awareness about the inhumane acts of dog fighting and bait dogs is proving to be successful with your love and support. She is also changing the way pitbulls are viewed by some people. She is changing the word and will continue to inspire and bring hope to people as a certified therapy dog.
