Semester At Sea $895 Fuel Surcharge

I Am Requesting Assistance in Paying the Last-Minute Fuel Expense for Semester At Sea:
As a student pursuing majors in Media and Culture, and General Business, the opportunity to have an integrated global learning experience through Semester at Sea was one I set my sights on early in my studies. I have worked multiple jobs throughout the school year and summer, and thought that I had the expenses for this incredible trip covered. However, it was announced only 30 days prior to the trip that the increased cost of fuel worldwide has forced the Semester at Sea program to charge an additional $895 to each student participating in this fall's experience.
How Semester At Sea Furthers My Studies:
I firmly believe that this experience is integral to bringing my studies together through true application. I will be taking courses, such as Documenting Globalism and International Mass Communication, which will allow me to work closely with professors in hands-on, project-based experiences in 11 countries, 13 cities, and 4 continents. These courses are designed to have both classroom and port-based experiential components that will expand on my current knowledge and challenge me to further my understanding of Media across the world.
Any additional money above my goal of $895, would go towards additional class opportunities while in port.
Any donation, or even sharing this on your social media page, would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
