Help Selfie Dad's son with a car

First off, let me explain, fame doesn't always mean fortune. 
This is my boy, Austin. 
This year he and his girlfriend were hit by another car. Everyone, including the police recognized it was the other drivers fault. 
Unfortunately, this driver had no insurance. 
We had insurance, but uninsured motorists were not covered. 
They both  had to receive minor medical treatment and while we covered that, his car, which he was given on his birthday, by his grandfather, was totaled. 
Now while me and my daughter have been noticed, written about and interviewed by people all over the World, well, like I said, fame  does not equal fortune. 
We are still the paycheck to paycheck family and just cannot afford to help him get another used car. 
We've already pursued all other options, so please trust me when I say, this is our last resort. I never wanted to ask for money during any this. 
The Selfie Dad /daughter thing was about fun and family and not about trying to cash in, but out of all the attention we recieved,  i now have been given the unique opportunity to talk to thousands of people and to take a horrible experience for him and hopefully turn it around into something positive. 
I am not asking for help to buy him a brand new car or something sporty. 
Just a simple, safe,  used car to search for work and get around in. 
Any money we receive over the amount asked, will go to insurance, maintenence and filtered over to Cassie to help with her current tuition payments. 
I want to really stress though, that I am so thankful for the followers I have, not to mention all the kind, wonderful emails and messages we've received  through this last year, so understand, if you don't have any extra money to send, then don't.
Times are tough for a lot of people right now, I totally get that.
