Shane' Going to SE Asia

Hello friends and family and anyone who is interested in following me along in this experience!

A lot of people travel to SE Asia on holidays and basically miss out on interacting with locals and engaging in the cultural diversity that SE Asia has to offer.

I will be writing a detailled book on life in SE Asia from a local's perspective. In this book, I will be making an account of people's experiences in all of the listed countries (below). Life changing? heart-breaking?;

Eitherway I have had this project for many years now, always putting it to the side, as "something" came up. It is time to take action and follow through, this is why I am setting up a gofundme campaign.

What countries will be in this trip?

In no specific order:

Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, East timor, Brunei and maybe Papua New Guinea (I'm researching the visa process. Possibly also China, Korea and Japan depending on my budget.

All who donate will be given a free copy of the book when it comes out. I'm not sure what to expect from this trip, it may be lonely, it may be heart-warming - nonetheless it shall be met with daily updates on Instagram, so all who are interested may join me on my path.
