Sean Gallagher Recovery Fund

Sean Gallagher is an electrician out of L.U. 230, Victoria, who was working at the K+S Legacy Project in Saskatchewan.  At the beginning of June while on his days off he fell ill and was taken to the hospital and put in ICU, his kidneys had failed and had a blood infection.  After multiple surgeries, on June 24th, 2016 they removed his right leg below the knee and they feared that he may lose his left. His family from Oshawa has been with him from the start of his battle.
On July 3rd Sean was removed from ICU and moved to a High Needs Orthopedic Ward at the Royal Jubilee in Victoria. He has had more surgeries since.  The septic infection has been cleared but he still has no kidney function.  He has started to get some feeling in his left foot which the doctors say is a good sign.  As a co-worker with Sean over the years, his hard work will be missed on the jobsite. However, we know his dedication and drive will help him persevere through this long road of recovery.   I will try to update his status as I hear more.  Please join us in supporting him and his family in this battle.
