It is with sadness that we announce that our Central Coast Animal Care Facility staff and family member, Sean, tragically left this world on 31st March, 2017.
Sean was a quiet and caring young man with a heart of gold and a very special connection to animals. His compassion for animals of any shape and size was truly felt and seen by all who met him. If anyone needed Sean for something and couldn't find him - you would always know to look in all the kennels - because in one of them you would find Sean cuddling and reassuring a timid, scared or sick dog. Sean would often spend hours after his shift had finished at the facility, just spending time with a dog who needed him. Every dog at the facility knew and loved Sean as much as he loved them.
As you can imagine, Sean's family are grieving and are now facing a large and unexpected financial situation with his funeral costs.
A small gesture will make an enormous difference in the lives of his parents who are already facing major medical expenses with the long term illness of Sean's mother and now have further expenses to face.
If you could find it in your heart to make a donation, no matter how small, you can help to ease the enormous stress currently being suffered by the McMahon family and help them to give Sean the send off he deserves.
Any amounts raised over and above funeral costs will be donated to Beyond Blue.
