Sean Hafer's Medical & Family Help!

Donation protected
Sean and Shannon Hafer find themselves in a world unknown.  Imagine going to the doctor to get some medicine because you think your shortness of breath is caused by the flu.  Only to find out you are suffering from heart failure.  Not only are you experiencing the symptoms of heart failure, you are now learning your heart cannot have any surgeries to prevent it from getting worse and to start healing from it.

Unfortunately, Sean has learned that he has to get a heart transplant in order to overcome what he thought was the flu.  Sean and Shannon have been married for 16 years, and they have built a beautiful family with four amazing sons.  Michael (13), Tyler (12), Ben (10), and Issac (7) are Sean's boys and they need him to be with them growing up.  Sean is an active dad who coaches softball while the boys play.  His boys adore him and they are his world.

Shannon is a stay-at-home mom, with a part time job.  Meanwhile, Sean's work is the family's main source of income.  Sean has not been able to go back to work since January, and Shannon has had to take a leave of absence, as well.  Sean needs Shannon to help him with his every day routine.  So, that leaves Sean, Shannon, Michael, Tyler, Ben, and Issac with no income source, as of right now.

Sean recently was aircared to the UK Hospital, and is in the ICU.  The doctors and staff have not given a specific timeline for how long Sean will be there, in the hospital.  They only know that is where he is to stay for some time.  Currently, they are running test to get him qualified for a heart transplant.  Once he has been given the okay to have the surgery, he will then be put on a wait list to have it done.  There is no way to know how long this will take.  Over the next few days, week, Sean and his family are hoping to hear some specific details as to what to expect and how to plan and live going forward.

We live in a world that requires income and money to survive.  Especially, with children in the mix.  If you have the ability to donate towards their fund, it would be much appreciated.  No donation is too small, or too big.  Our goal is to get them enough to help them over the next three months or more, if possible.  If you are someone who cannot afford to spare money to donate, we understand and thank you for reading this and learning about what Sean and his family are going through.  Even if you can't help financially, PLEASE remember them in your prayers.  Also, whether you donate towards the fund or are saying prayers to help, PLEASE share this story and the go fund me page.  No amount of sharing is too much.  The more it is shared the more help we can get for this precious family.

This family, their extended family, and friends are all praying and believing that God will see him through this.  God is amazing, and he can speak to those to help that can.  Once Sean has had the surgery God can, and we believe he will, help him recover swiftly; so that, he can return to a normal life with his wife and four boys.

Thank you for taking the time to help.  We will update the page with information, as we can.

Love to all.
