A Box Is Not a Home
Donation protected
November 9th at 5:00 PM Coastal Carolina University will host it's first Cardboard City Event. This event is to raise awareness about homeless youth living in Horry County, while raising funds to help end youth homelessness. Students will have a single night to experience what it's like to not have a home, sleeping in cardboard boxes. All proceeds go to Sea Haven Inc. a not-for-profit 501 (3) C orginization that helps homeless, runaway, and forgotten youth aged 13 through 22. Sea Haven Inc. has four programs to help youth: Sea Haven Shelter for Youth, Sea Haven's Transitional Living Program, Sea Haven's Street Outreach Program Project Lighthouse, and Project Safe Place. While this event is for CCU students only, anyone can support our homeless youth with a donation to this GoFundMe. Please help us end youth homelessness in Horry County! Visit seahaveninc.com for more information about what we do, or call us at [phone redacted] (Mon-Sat, 9AM-6PM). Thak you for your support!
