The Southeast (SE) Tarheels Youth Sports Association is a sports based youth development program located in the Ward 8 area of Washington, DC. It is our mission to provide high quality; structured programs that will develop sports fundamentals, support academic enrichment and cultivate good sportsmanship, character, discipline and teamwork in a caring, safe and positive environment.
The Junior Midget team(pictured above) had a spectacular football season. They ended the regular season undeafeated 7-0 while holding their opponents to only 27 points. Because of their harwork on and off the field, the team has qualified to compete in the American Youth Football (AYF) National Championships held in Orlando, Florida. This year's trip to the AYF National Championships is special, as it allows us the opportuniy to repeat as AYF NATIONAL CHAMPS.
In order to send our team to the AYF National Championships, we rely on the generosity of family, friends and supporters. Without the assistance of community minded individulas like yourself, we would not be able to make this dream a reality. We ask that you make a commitment to suppoort our efforts to send this group of deserving young men to Florida. Your donation would be used towards air transportation, lodging and meals for the team for seven days from Friday December 2, 2017 until Friday December 9, 2017.
