Hi all, I'm a friend of Scotty as well as on the HGFA board.
For those that don't know the Icarus is an amazing 1,000+ mile paramotor race. Scotty race this year and unfortunately ended up with a catastrophic failure that ruled him out. It cost him over $8,000 to attend.
Scotty approached the HGFA for financial assistance with the Icarus race and unfortunately with a small pool of funds missed out. :-(
What I'm hoping is that we have some other Australia pilots who like to lend him a hand. $750 isn't a huge amount, but it will make a difference and let him know we support him. So if you feel like you owe Scotty a beer or two, now is the time to kick in and donate. Even $5 per person will make a difference.
