Scott A. Vanhorn, 36, of Garrettsville, passed away Friday December 30th 2016, with his loving family at his side. He was born June 13, 1980 in Ravenna, Ohio to Edward and Donella (Woofter) Vanhorn. Scott felt blessed to marry the love of his life Tara on May 27th 2000 and they were blessed with two beautiful children.
He was a beloved youth softball coach, 5th and 6th grade girls and boys basketball coach, OGSO umpire/referee and Vice President of Garrettsville Youth Softball. Scott loved hunting, fishing and camping. His true joy came from spending time with his family and friends.
Scott is survived by his loving wife Tara and children Scott Jr. and Angela all of Garrettsville; parents Edward and Donella Vanhorn; sisters Jennifer Enzman of Nelson and Tara (Jeff) Illinik of Ashtabula; and in-laws Glenn and Esther Martin of Hiram.
