Scion FR-S LS1 dream car build
Donation protected
Ever since my first time reading Import Tuner for the first time, I've dreamed of building a car so great that it can grab the attention and imaginations of everyone around me. Building my car is my art. I'd like to make it a masterpiece everyone can be inspired by.
In June, I blew my motor at the track. These things happen. When you do racecar stuff you have racecar problems. But I wasn't going to let it get me down. Mitsurugi, my 2013 Scion FR-S, would be rebuilt. Bigger and better than before. Rebuilding the same motor wasn't very practical since it could fail again. A simple used replacement was cheapest but could again, easily fail, just as my original motor had. And so a plan was hatched to transplant the heart of a 2000 Corvette in place of my boxer 2.0L.
However, the plan isn't without it's faults. Stuffing a motor never intended to fit into another car, especially one with so many computers and electronic systems, isn't cheap. Donations will go towards building an automotive masterpiece. My dream.
I humbly welcome anyone who wants to be a part of this build to share whatever you see fit. I will share as much information on the process as possible so that others may follow their dreams too. The build process can be followed at https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129545
