We're looking to GROW THE VILLAGE of support for young people, their families and the school communities in which they learn! We're looking for 2,018 educators, youth and community advocates to join the SchoolWideRead Circle so that we can expand our reach and amplify impact!
The work of BUILDING literacy, community, scholarship and social justice has to move beyond the "conversation" and into the realities that many of our young people and families face. In addition to our critical literacy and school culture improvement work, we are passionate about creating ways for the COMMUNITY TO BUILD AND SUSTAIN ITSELF. Our micro-scholarships and book gifting initiatives are successful because of generous donations from the communities we serve. This campaign will help us expand our programming and MOST OF ALL, AWARD MORE SCHOLARSHIPS!
Three cool ways to support our mission to DO MORE GOOD & GROW THE VILLAGE:
1. Make the 20/18 Individual Commitment- Donate $20 (or more) on the 18th of each month.
2. Create a 20/1/8 Giving Circle- YOU + 8 of YOUR FRIENDS can EACH DONATE $20 (or more) on the 18th of each month.
3. Make 20/18 TenFold Donation: Donate $20 (X10) OR $18 (X10) OR add as many zeros to the magic numbers as you please. Move that decimal point to the right---Please. And. Thank You!
