School's Black History Program

Overby-Sheppard Black History Committee and myself Shareema Hill would like your help with donating to our Black History Program. Overby-Sheppard Elementary School is a Title I school in Richmond, VA. In an effort to support our children during this event, we are providing our families with a night of celebration. This year’s theme is "Knowing Your Roots, The African Diaspora. A Night of Music, Culture and Inventors". We want to celebrate the achievements of African Americans and others who are of African Decent through Education, Music and Culture. This event will take place on Friday February 24th 2017. Due to the magnitude of the cost, we are seeking sponsors to assist with costumes, props or anything we may need to make this event a success. The committee is dedicated to making this a special occasion for our students and their families. If you find it in your heart to donate, $1, $5, $10 will do. No amount is too small.
