Scholarships for after school care

Our hope is to fund afterschool child care for ten (10) income eligible working parents with a one (1) month scholarship to a registered after school program. After school care is about $200 a month per child so the goal is to raise $4000 (in the case of multiple children). Parents will be responsible for fees above the scholarship amount awarded.

Child Care Council of Orange County Inc. is a voluntary, non-profit incorporated organization. Our purpose is to coordinate, assist, strengthen, and expand child care in Orange County for all children and families who can benefit.

Working parents with school age children often cannot afford after school care for their children. Helping these parents would benefit all -
*an employer would have less absenteeism
* an employee would have peace of mind that their child was well           cared for
*a child would be in a safe and healthy environment with engaging activities
