Schannon Hadley Stoudemire Medical

My name is Carol, and I am a long time  friend of Schannon and Will. I am setting up this GoFundMe, but all donations (less the GFM service fee) will go directly to the Stoudemire family, and not pass through any other people.

 Here is part of Schannon's story.

On December 5, 2016,  Schannon  and her  family were forced to face some horrible news that came as a huge shock.  Our always smiling and compassionate  Schannon  (known to all as a selfless wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend) was diagnosed with  brain cancer.  She is currently going through daily radiation treatments to help shrink  the lesions on her brain. In the future  she will require brain surgery. Schannon has been fighting colon and lung cancer since January 2015. She was scheduled to have the mass removed from  her lung on December 8, 2016 but instead on December 5, 2016 she was rushed to the emergency room and after a head CT she was advised that cancer spread to her brain. She was then transferred to The University of Penn.   
Schannon faces a long road which (among other things) include hospital stays, and radiation treatments  This will also require Schannon to take a lengthy leave from her job. Her  husband will also need to take time off of work to support her.  As you can imagine, this has  caused a huge emotional and financial stress on their lives as they continue to try to maintain some sort of normalcy for their  children.  They need our help.  We are hoping that you could donate (even a small amount) to help support Schannon, Will, Elijah and Emma through this difficult time.  It is times like these that we rely on the support of others to make it through a difficult journey.
While the most coveted thing for the Stoudemire family is prayers, donations also provide a real support, and relieve a significant burden that can place untold stress on the family.
