Help me teach English in Korea!

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!! I'm really excited about what's to come in 2017, I have an amazing opportunity to tell you about. I will me teaching English abroad in Korea starting in February! This whole process started 3 years ago when I became interested in Korea. Since 2014 I've been teaching myself hangul (the language), watching documentaries, and even trying more Korean food. I am absolutely in love with the country and I've heard nothing but great things from people who've been there. I love the food, the language, the entertainment, the scenery (from what I've seen), and the history is really interesting to me.
I've been doing research and a few months ago I found a program that allows people from; Canada, The U.S, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, The U.K, and Ireland teach in Korea, and they even cover rent! These programs are called EPIK (English Program in Korea) and TALK (Teaching and Learning in Korea). Its a great opportunity to save money, travel, and learn more about the country's culture. I'll be teaching English to kids in elementary school and I love kids! It's fun teaching people new things especially when they're so young, curious, and playful. Last month I sent off my application and a little over a week later they called to set up an intervew. I met with them on December 1st and passed the intervew!
I was informed that I got the job on January 9th! As you can imagine, this is short notice to prepare to live in another country luggage, getting a visa, and buying an international one way plane ticket.  I should  be able to work a little bit to save for a few weeks, but I know it won't be enough. And we won't recieve our entrance allowance for a few weeks after we start.
I hope to see the entire country and explore the region, maybe even visit Hong Kong or Japan for a weekend while I'm not working. I want to go hiking, take pictures, vlog, make new friends, try new foods, experience the culture, teach kids, and grow as a person. I know myself and it'll be hard for me to be so far away from my life and my family. But I really think this is a great chance for me to learn new things about myself and to become more self reliant and independent. This whole process seems like a dream and if I get this opportunity it would LITERALLY be a dream come true, I can't put into words how bad I want this. This would be the best way to start the new year!
