Julie Needs Our Help!!

I’m writing this on behalf of my dear friend, Julie Burns. As some of you may know, Julie was recently hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage.  Thank goodness she was released after about a week and is getting better every day. She can’t drive yet because of effects the hemorrhage had on her vision and is working hard with occupational therapy.


Julie needs to take at least 8 weeks off of work to heal and regain her strength. Unfortunately, her short-term disability doesn’t start until she’s off for 4 weeks. She didn’t have much sick or vacation time saved up after the holidays. So she is in the position of not being paid for about three weeks during a time when she’s also incurring unplanned medical bills.


On top of all of this, she was in the middle of moving when she was hospitalized. We literally picked up the keys to her new place on the way to the ER to have what she thought was a severe migraine treated.


As many of you know, Julie is an amazing person and a fantastic mom. In today’s world, most of us are one paycheck away from a catastrophe. Let’s help take some of the pressure off Julie by offsetting some of her expenses. Anything you can give is much appreciated; it can be any amount. Thanks you from the bottom of my heart!
