From Server to Owner: Support SB!

If you're from or have lived in Richmond, VA, you probably already know her: she's the bubbly 6'2" waitress with a big flower in her curly hair. More than likely, she's served you brunch at Perly's or Curbside Cafe with her contagious smile. Sarabeth is a well-known RVA service industry staple; a hardworking single mom who has been waiting tables since she was 15 years old. She is *finally* making her dream of owning a community-based restaurant come true. In order to launch this new local business, she needs your help!

Despite several unfortunate personal and financial hurdles that would deter the average person, as well as the responsibility of raising her son TJ on her own, she has put in the time, work, research, and her natural business accumen to finally procure a property and start the ball rolling. "SB's Loveshack" will reside in The Hub Shopping Center off of Lakeside Ave, with a targeted opening date of Nov 1. The menu will feature made-from-scratch breakfast items (including early morning breakfast to-go bags for patrons on the run), brunch, sandwiches and drinks.

If you'd like to be a part of opening a new local business owned and operated by a well-known and loved RVA native, your donation would be GREATLY appreciated! Seriously - even if you give a dollar, every cent is needed. Funds will be used for:

- purchasing additional kitchen necessities (so she can cook your food)
- acquiring an ABC license ('cause you know ya'll wanna drink there!)
- indoor (and outdoor patio!) renovations
- other miscellaneous business costs (to make this place the bomb!)

As of 9/25/17, interior renovations are finally underway and we've got new flooring coming in! We'll keep you updated as more awesome things happen.
