Araseli's Recovery

My name is Jessica Abarca,
My daughter Araseli who just turned 5 on March 16th, was bitten on the left side of her face by a pit bull  on April 16th.
She has many stitches on the left side of her cheek that go all the way inside of her mouth. she also has stitches along her whole bottom left gum line.  she had surgery to fix what they could but it will be a long road for such a beautiful girl.  
 
On Friday when I called the Surgeons office I was informed that the do not take the insurance that I have so I started this page to help fund Araseli for medical and other cost that we run in to as she heals.

Araseli is the most outgoing little girl, she loves to smile and playing with other children she come from a big family and loves unconditionally.

My fear is what she will have to deal with in the future because of this incident. I dont want her to lose her loving personality. 

I am reminded everyday how lucky I am to have her, we are the lucky parents not many her age survive a pit bull attack. I thank God everyday that I get to see her smile.

The photos are of her scars after the stitches were taken out. She might have to live with these scars the rest of her life, my hopes are that they will fade as she gets older. Thank you for reading Araseli's story. If you can share her story or donate any please do. Every little bit helps.
