"PEOPLE" is a powerful new dance piece created by Seattle choreographer Wade Madsen for the 2017 season of On The Boards "Northwest New Works". With an eclectic cast of talented individuals, "PEOPLE" explores the subtle and sometimes dramatic expression of body language, the power of gesture and sublime beauty in simple movement, encouraging a reflective eye and mindfull appretiation for the world around us. Featuring some new and recognizable faces, several of Seattle's modern dance luminaries and a visiting dance hero from Vancouver Canada, the production of "PEOPLE" is seeking a funding grant towards production costs and compensation for performers.
"PEOPLE" will be performed the second weekend of NWNW. June 17 & 18 on the main stage of OTB.
